The Journal of Advanced Computer Networks and Communication Systems (JACNCS) strictly adheres to the guidelines and best practices set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding publication malpractice.
1. Duties of Authors
Authors must ensure that their submitted work is entirely original. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data, constitutes unethical behavior and is unacceptable.
2. Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and confidentially. They must not use unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript for their own research without the author's explicit written consent.
3. Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased publication decisions based solely on the academic merit of the work. They must declare any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where such conflicts exist.
4. Handling Misconduct
In cases of alleged or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication, or plagiarism, the publisher, in close collaboration with the editors, will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and amend the article in question. This includes the prompt publication of an erratum, clarification, or, in the most severe case, the retraction of the affected work.
