Author Guidelines
Please read these guidelines carefully before preparing your manuscript. Submissions that do not conform to these guidelines will be returned without peer review.
General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx) format.
- Use Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced throughout.
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides. Standard A4 page size.
- All pages must be numbered sequentially. Line numbers must be enabled.
- The manuscript must be blinded — no author names, institutions, or identifying information in the main document.
Manuscript Structure
- Title Page — Title, all author names, affiliations, corresponding author contact details, ORCID iDs.
- Blinded Manuscript — Title only (no authors), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References, Tables, Figures.
Abstract & Keywords
Structured abstract of maximum 250 words with sections: Background/Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Provide 4–6 MeSH keywords.
References
References must follow the Vancouver citation style (numbered, in order of appearance). All references must be verified and complete with DOIs where available.
Tables & Figures
- Tables must be editable (not images) and placed at the end of the document.
- Figures must be submitted at minimum 300 DPI resolution as separate image files (.TIFF or .JPG).
- All tables and figures must have titles and legends.
Ethics Statements
Human studies must state ethics committee approval and system data privacy compliance. Animal studies must comply with ARRIVE guidelines. These statements must appear in the Methods section.
